National Football League wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. celebrated a touchdown on Sunday track and field style.
Beckham Jr., who plays for the New York Giants, celebrated in the end zone as if he were hurdling three barriers before leaning across the finish line. The NFL star even got critiqued by U.S. Olympian Lolo Jones, a world indoor champion in the 60m hurdles.
Jones approved of the wide receiver’s celebration.
.@OBJ_3 form is better. His left leg arm is tucked at 90 degree angle. My right arm kicks out creating air time pic.twitter.com/q5x90wN5zh

The celebration was a tribute to Beckham Jr.’s mother, Heather Van Norman, a six-time All-American at Louisiana State University (LSU) between 1991 and 1993. The three, Beckham Jr., Van Norman and Jones, all attended LSU.
