Jesse Owens biopic “Race” trailer released
The film about the Olympic sprinting legend will star Canadian Stephan James
Race, a new film about the life of Olympic legend Jesse Owens, will be released in theatres on Feb. 19, 2016.
The film tells the story of Owens incredible against-all-odds rise to athletic dominance during a period of racism in America and the looming rise of Nazism in Europe. Owens won four gold medals at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, as the world was about to go to war with Germany.
Above is the first trailer released for the film, which stars Canadian Stephan James as Owens.
