Micah True documentary looking for post-production funding

A Kickstarter campaign has popped up looking to raise money for a documentary about Micah True, founder of the Ultra Marathon Caballo Blanco in Mexico’s Copper Canyons. True is best known for his spot as a character in bestselling book Born to Run about True’s race and the Tarahumara people who live in the region.

The documentary has been filming for five years since before True’s death in 2012. The Kickstarter campaign is looking to raise USD$75,000 by the end of July, largely for costs associated with post-production and marketing.

The film is being directed by Sterling Noren, known for making motorcycle adventure movies.
