Video: Patagonia’s Ultra Fiord

Chile’s Patagonia remains one of the most rugged, desolate and adventurous places to visit on Earth. The organizers of the Patagonia Marathon saw an opportunity to deliver trail runners a dramatic tour of the region with a dedicated ultra-trail event in 2015. The Ultra Fiord features a 100-miler, 100K, 70K and, for those just looking for a shorter jog in the mountains, a 30K. The event takes place April 16-18. Register at the race website.
