The Rock ‘n’ Roll Series made its second and final stop in Canada in 2016 in what is one of B.C.’s most popular road running events on the calendar. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Oasis Vancouver Half-Marathon and Cunningham Seawall 10K was held on back-to-back days on the weekend and featured scenic tours of the city’s landscapes.
Competitor reports that as many as 10,000 runners took part in the race festivities.
See some highlights from the events on the weekend and try to spot yourself in the videos featuring drone footage and aerial shots as well as captures from the ground. Those brave enough to do both the 10K and half-marathon distances earned a special, guitar-themed medal for finishing both events.
