Update: Vancouver and Montreal have been added (in addition to previously announced Toronto) to the list of Canadian stops on the Night Nation Run tour.

Dubbed the world’s first running music festival, the Night Nation Run will be coming to Canada this summer.

The Night Nation Run is a “5K musical voyage filled with live music, lights, lasers, and celebration for the lover of electronic music.”

Though the event is marketed as the world’s first running music festival, similar events have been put on in the past including night runs, glow runs and colour runs.

Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal will be the only three Canadian stops on tour with many cities across the United States hosting Night Nation Runs this summer. The series begins in Orange Country, Calif. on April 2 with the final stop in San Francisco on Nov. 19.
