The Ancient Oaks 100-miler is an invitation-only race that is held on a 5.5 km loop on trails and gravel paths of Enchanted Forest Sanctuary. Race officials and the police were concerned about his whereabouts since the race is located near U.S. Interstate 95, and the sanctuary is home to many wild boar. Melton described finding Blewett on Monday as the “best possible Christmas present.”
