A German train station had a makeover ahead of its bid for the 2024 Olympics, with the underground being transformed to a runner's paradise.
A German subway station had a makeover in advance of its bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics with the underground being transformed into a runner’s paradise.
The Hamburg station of Jungfernstieg, a stop on Germany’s main train line, got its stairs painted the colours of a typical track, complete with lanes, lines, and a start/finish area.
In addition to Hamburg, other bidding cities for the 2024 Olympics include Rome, Los Angeles, Paris and Budapest, Hungary.
