The GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon provides a boon to the local economy with an economic impact of $7.1 million.

It’s not just runners who look forward to the GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon each year. Local businesses also enjoy major benefits from the event, according to a recent report from the Victoria Marathon Society. The report estimates an economic impact of $7.1 million from the race weekend — up dramatically from 2001, when the economic impact of the event was last measured at $1.2 million.
