Longtime Canadian resident Ellie Greenwood, who lives in Banff but runs for the U.K., won the IAU 100K World Championships in Gibraltar

Longtime Canadian resident Ellie Greenwood, who lives in Banff but runs for the U.K., won the IAU 100K World Championships in Gibraltar on Sunday in a time of 7:29. Greenwood took the lead in the last lap of the 19-lap race, with Monica Carlin finishing just behind in 7:30 and Lizzie Hawker third in 7:33.
