Squamish 50 selling out fast

The Squamish 50, an event that hosts both 50K and a 50 mile races, is selling out quickly.

The event sold 240 bib numbers in the first two hours of registration.

They also host a 23K run. There’s also an option of racing the 50/50, the 50 mile on the first day and the 50K on the second. The cost of the events are $95 for the 50 mile race, $75 for the 50K, or $150 for the 50/50.

There have been updates recently about a strong elite field for the race, including Mike Wardian, Nick Clark and Cassie Scallon.

The event will take place the weekend of August 16th and 17th.
