Nine-time Olympic gold-medallist Carl Lewis is moving up to the marathon distance. The legendary sprinter tells Sports Illustrated he plans to run the Chevron Houston Marathon in two years to celebrate his 50th birthday.

As for his strategy, Lewis said, “I’m going to wait until the last 100 metres and then pass some people so I can get one of those finish-line photos!”
