NBA star LeBron James sports runner-friendly short shorts in practice
Runners will be familiar with the look as short shorts can be the go-to choice of bottom when training and racing.
National Basketball Association (NBA) star LeBron James wore shorts of length that may be familiar to many runners.
While preparing for the second round of the NBA playoffs, the Cleveland Cavaliers small forward wore short shorts that are more often seen at footraces than on the basketball court. As described by GQ, “LeBron James is taking short shorts to a whole new level.” Mid-thigh shorts, which includes variations like splits, are often the summer bottoms of choice for runners, whether it’s in training or while competing.

Away from practice and on the game court, James and company often wear knee-length Adidas shorts. As James is a Nike-sponsored athlete, perhaps we will see him sporting an Oregon Project singlet in the future.
