Andre De Grasse highlights from the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
The three-time Olympic medallist puts up double digits in points and collects six rebounds at the high-profile NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
Andre De Grasse starred in the 2018 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday.
The Olympic triple medallist and Canada’s fastest man was on Team Clippers, the winning team of the game, and scored 17 points and collected six rebounds. The game was held in Los Angeles ahead of the National Basketball Association’s all-star game.
The game’s MVP, rapper Quavo of Migos fame, scored 19 points, a basket more than De Grasse, the 2016 Olympic medallist in the 100, 200m and 4x100m. The 23-year-old was a basketball player in Toronto before getting into track and field.
De Grasse is slated to race for Canada at April’s Commonwealth Games after sitting out the 2017 IAAF World Championships due to injury.
