Think you know your trivia? Which one of the top-10 finishers at the New York City Marathon is an Ontario high school cross-country champion?

Canadian Running put together some tidbits for each of the top 10 athletes, all over the age of 30, in the women’s professional field at the 2017 New York City Marathon. Final time is listed beside their names.

1. Shalane Flanagan – 2:26:53

Became the first American woman to win the New York City Marathon in 40 years on Sunday.

2. Mary Keitany – 2:27:54

Second fastest marathoner of all-time with a PB of 2:17:01.

3. Mamitu Daska – 2:28:08

Finished second to women’s marathon world record holder Paula Radcliffe in one of Radcliffe’s final competitive half-marathons, the 2009 NYC Half.

4. Edna Kiplagat – 2:29:36

5. Allie Kieffer – 2:29:39

Improved her personal best to 2:29:39 from 2:55:30. She has an indoor marathon PB too, 2:44:44, set in New York City in 2016.

6. Sara Dossena – 2:29:39

A professional triathlete from Italy.

7. Eva Vrabcova – 2:29:41

Two-time winter Olympian in cross-country skiing for the Czech Republic. An Olympian in the marathon.

8. Kellyn Taylor – 2:29:56

A firefighter.

9. Diane Nukuri – 2:31:21

An OFSAA cross-country champion who lived in Ontario during high school after growing up in Burundi.

10. Stephanie Bruce – 2:31:44

Co-founder of Picky Bars.
