U.S. triple jumper Will Claye followed up his Olympic silver medal performance with a marriage proposal to his longtime girlfriend Queen Harrison. He got down on one knee among a crowd of people to propose, to which Harrison said yes.

He jumped 17.76m in the triple jump to win silver and proceeded to jump into the stands to celebrate. There, he was able to find Harrison as he draped the American flag over both shoulders.

Harrison, a 100m hurdle specialist, narrowly missed making the U.S. Olympic team with a fourth place finish at the Trials. Only the top-three with standard qualified for the Olympic team. She travelled to Rio and was seen wearing a “Will Power” shirt in support of her now-fiancée. Harrison, 27, won the 100m hurdles gold medal at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto.

It was Claye’s third Olympic medal of his career and second in the triple jump after winning silver at the 2012 London Games. The American is still just 25 years of age. Christian Taylor won gold in the men’s triple jump (17.86m) as the Americans went 1-2.

In addition to Claye and Harrison, there are some other notable track couples at the Olympics including Ashton Eaton and Brianne Theisen-Eaton, a Canadian. Theisen-Eaton won Canada’s first athletics medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics with a bronze medal in the heptathlon. Eaton, an American, is a favourite to win the ten-event decathlon.
