VIDEO: Runners race Toronto’s Santa Speedo Run raising money for sick children
The 10th annual Toronto Santa Speedo Run took place yesterday afternoon in warm conditions as runners raised $40,000 for charity.
Speedos and mid-December weather: Not the most common combination for runners.
But at the Santa Speedo Run in Toronto over the weekend, 80 runners took to the streets and completed the challenge taking minimalism to another level. Fortunately, weather hovered around 10 C throughout the day.
The annual race, now in its 10th year, has raised more than $285,000 for the Toy and Game Fund at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.
