Brown lives and trains in Orlando, and their wedding was attended by several other Canadian track athletes, including fellow sprinter Gavin Smellie. Brown is the reigning Canadian champion in the 100m and 200m, and he has an Olympic bronze medal from the 2016 4x100m relay. He also represented Canada at the 2019 world championships in Doha in the 100m and 200m, where he finished in eighth and sixth place, respectively.

Brown will be working to get to Tokyo this summer for a shot at more medals, but he’s started the year on a high note that will be tough to match.
