This Halloween costume was an all-around team effort

No, you’re not seeing double. Or even triple.

A group of 12 runners dressed up as popular American distance runner and surprised him at a local race for Halloween. Sporting a moustache, long black hair, a bright Brooks singlet, a backwards ball cap and sunglasses, the dozen runners played the part of Noah Droddy. (Droddy now runs for Saucony.)

“Yesterday was good for my ego,” Droddy says as part of his Instagram post.

The outfit was inspired by the below attire, which garnered attention at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. Droddy has put up solid performances since including a 61:48 half-marathon in New York City and a 2:16:26 at the 2017 Chicago Marathon.

The Noah Droddy impersonators ran into the man himself at a Halloween festival in Indianapolis over the weekend.
