Phylicia George is an Olympic medallist. Not at the Summer Olympics but at the Winter Games.

The Olympic hurdles finalist won bronze in the bobsleigh on Wednesday in Pyeongchang, South Korea as the brakewoman for Kaillie Humphries. The pair clocked 3:22.89 split across four runs down the ice track finishing 0.44 off of the gold medal-winning German team.

Humphries was the two-time defending Olympic champion in the event as she teamed up with George following the 2016 Rio Olympic Games where George finished eighth in the women’s 100m hurdles. The 30-year-old’s best Summer Olympics result is a sixth-place performance at the 2012 Olympics in London.
