13-year-old Anne-Marie Comeau could soon become a household name in Canadian running circles.

13-year-old Anne-Marie Comeau could soon become a household name in Canadian running circles.

Comeau, of Saint-Ferreol-les-Neiges, Que., won the annual Ascension du Mont-Sainte-Anne 6K, in a record time of 34:37, on Sunday.

Comeau beat a former Boston marathon winner, Jacqueline Gareau, by almost three minutes to claim the victory.

Gareau, 56, finished in second place, clocking 38:13, for the 6K climb.
