3 of 4 missing Ethiopian athletes found

Three of the four Ethiopian athletes who were reported missing from the world junior championships on Sunday have been found in Beaverton, Ore., 160 km away from Eugene, where to meet was hosted, according to local reports. The four teenage runners are believed to have been looking to apply for asylum.

Amanuel Abebe, Dureti Edao and Meaza Kebede were found by local police. Zeyituna Mohammed is still missing.

The four disappeared from the athletes village at the meet between Friday evening and Saturday morning. They were found on Monday.
