David Letterman has a new look now that he’s retired from television and hosting the popular Late Show with David Letterman. The 68-year-old showed off that new look while running on vacation in the Caribbean sporting a lengthy beard and a clean shaven head.

Letterman is seen in the above photos in a grey Ball State University t-shirt, though cotton may not have been the best choice for jogging while in St. Barts, and bright yellow shorts. The Indianapolis native attended Ball State and graduated in 1969.

He was a talk show host for 33 years, first with NBC’s Late Night with David Letterman before the show moved over to CBS under the name the Late Show with David Letterman. He retired on May 20, 2015.

Stephen Colbert replaced Letterman on the CBS late night show.

As seen by the photos, it appears Letterman is a fan of music or podcasts while running though his headset technology seems to be a bit outdated. Judging by his grin and laughter, he looks to be enjoying retirement while spending time on the small Caribbean island of St. Barts, an overseas collectivity of France.

Letterman hosted more than 6,000 episodes over his 33-year career.
