Canada Running Series and Lululemon have partnered for the Toronto Waterfront 10K, one of the top late-spring road races on the Ontario circuit. Lululemon is the new title sponsor for the June 17 race that runs through the heart of Toronto.

In the leadup to the mid-June race, participants will get the chance to take part in an eight-week training program at the Canadian athletic apparel retailer’s Queen Street and Cumberland Street locations. The Queen Street store will also host yoga and recovery programs.

Lululemon is the official retailer and apparel partner of the event.

Eric Gillis and Krista DuChene, both Olympians for Canada in Rio, are the defending Toronto Waterfront 10K champions. (Gillis won a second 10K that day, in a different city.) The 2017 Toronto Waterfront 10K is the second year that the race will be held under that name; the event was previously referred to as the Yonge Street 10K.

Today’s announcement is the latest in Lululemon’s growing presence in the running scene. Earlier this year, the company teamed up with Strava for the Lululemon 40 | 80 Challenge which encouraged runners to hit either 40K or 80K over the span of two weeks.

And they're off! Good luck to everyone running the #Waterfront10 today!
