National Track League to showcase top Canadian and International talent

New elite Canadian track & field series planned for this June-July.

Details are firming up for an ambitious new track series, to be held across the country this summer. The series will give fans a chance to see Canada’s and the world’s best competing on our home soil.

Billed as the “National Track League,” it will be a grand prix style series, with a points system inspired by the IAAF’s Diamond League. Offering $300,000 in prize money, the league will feature condensed, spectator-friendly meets loaded with top talent. They’ll be competing in a series of 5 meets, stretching from Vancouver to Halifax, held from June 29 to July 13.

The league’s website is now up here: National Track League.
