Salomon welcomes applications for its 2017 ultrarunning academy
Salomon Running will invite eight men and eight women from North America to a six-day run retreat in Utah in March. Apply if you think you have what it takes to be selected.
Salomon is on a mission to find ultrarunners filled with passion and dreams, inspired by idols or simply all about the great outdoors.
In 2017, Salomon is exploring the ultrarunning and long-distance athlete and will be hosting a six-day retreat in Moab, Utah in March that will take a limited number of selected athletes from both Canada and the U.S. to work on training and technique in workshops with international Salomon athletes. Registration for the academy is now open.

Salomon Ultrarunning Academy selection is based on past races and performances as well as community involvement and runners must be born 1997 or later. The best runners from each of the three academies (North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific) will be invited to Chamonix, France to race the Mont-Blanc 80K in June.
The strongest runners out of the Salomon group will then form small teams (two men and two women) and compete at the Gore-Tex Transalpine-Run Germany at the beginning of September.

Eight women and eight men will be selected to spend a dream week of training with the legends of the discipline, sharing with the experts of the sports and the Salomon product developers.
“Above all, it’s about sharing the passion,” says Gregory Vollet, Salomon’s International Sports Marketing Manager. “The great thing about enthusiasm is that it’s contagious.”
