The Sulphur Springs Trail Run is open for registration. The event is back for its 22nd year and with 40 new participant openings. The run can be a great introduction to trail running and ultramarathons. Over the six races there will be 1240 spaces for runners.

Races will be held on May 24th in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area and raises money for the Hamilton Conservation Foundation which helps maintain public parks and trails in the area.

The event offers a 10K, 25K, 50K, 50 mile, 100 mile, and 100 mile relay.

The Burlington Runners, who host the event, will also be holding training runs over the winter on the first Sunday of each month until May. They ask runners to contribute two dollars towards keeping the parks in runnable condition. They will meet at the Ancaster Community Centre.
