Video: Sports personality Katie Nolan’s hilarious, awful beer mile

The beer mile has undergone a renaissance in the last couple of years. In 2014, a Canadian James Neilsen broke the 5:00 barrier, and Corey Gallagher, also Canadian, captured the inaugural Beer Mile World Championship title in Austin, Texas. But most of us aren’t nearly as successful at crushing four brewskis and 1,609m on the track in a lightning fast time.

Case in point is American sports journalist Katie Nolan. She valiantly decided to tackle the beer mile for the first time and document it for her Fox Sports 1 show Garbage Time. Warning: this video contains F-bombs, vomit and lots of suffering.
