New Balance official shoe of Garmin-Sharp cycling team

Looks like Tour de France mania has leaked into the world of running. The Garmin-Sharp pro cycling team has declared the New Balance 890v4 (in a special colour scheme) to be their ‘off-bike’ shoe of choice. According to Garmin-Sharp, both their athletes and staff rely on these shoes.

While we could question how much cyclists know about running shoes, we won’t in this case. Perhaps they read Canadian Running’s spring shoe guide and saw that these kicks were awarded Best Neutral Shoe and Editor’s Pick. We have to admit, their version’s palette is pretty cool looking too.
