At Sunday’s New York City Marathon, notable comedian Kevin Hart was one of a handful of celebrities to complete the world’s largest 42.2K road race. There was a second Kevin Hart, unrelated, in the race, who ended up being the most-tracked runner of the entire event.

As first reported by Page Six, “tens of thousands” of people followed a runner by the name of Kevin Hart, a man in his fifties from Hollywood, Fla., who was assigned bib 69610. (Not the Hollywood you may have thought.) Meanwhile, Kevin Hart, the comedian, who has 55 million followers on Instagram, was assigned bib 10001, information the organizers of the race tweeted out shortly after the Nov. 5 mass start of the marathon through the five boroughs.

“His birthday present was being the most-tracked runner,” a New York Road Runners spokesperson told Page Six.

Hart, 38, listed his residence as Encino, Calif. and finished the marathon in 4:05:06. The South Florida resident finished an hour later in 5:05:38. According to NBC Miami, 23,000 people followed the elder Hart on the live tracking app, which allows fans to keep tabs on runners in real-time, even after the mix-up was clarified.

A reader even tweeted us (since deleted) regarding Hart’s final time, referring to the Florida man’s result and not the famous Comedian’s finishing time.

“I was just cracking up,” the most-followed runner told NBC Miami. “I couldn’t believe it.”

There were 50,766 finishers of the 2017 New York City Marathon.
