What did our athletes get up to between sessions on the track? Here's a snapshot of what's it's like to travel to Rio as a Team Canada athlete.

The Canadian team ran well at the Rio 2016 Olympics. The closing ceremonies have taken place in Brazil and Canadians fans say goodbye to this chapter of the 2016 Olympics as we now look towards the upcoming Paralympics. For now we rest happy knowing that our track and field team brought home six medals– the highest count in decades. There were many exciting stories that came from Canadian Olympic runners at this year’s Games and while we all watched them on the track, there were fun moments going on back at the Canada House and throughout Rio as those who represented our country bonded and celebrated their races. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what Team Canada was up to in between track sessions.
