The famous T-shirt of the Olympic Games, dubbed the #TheisenTee, has vanished. Why?

This week’s infamous T-shirt has vanished. Where has it gone? We don’t know.

When the decathlon world record holder and now two-time gold medallist, USA’s Asthon Eaton, wore a Canada hat while his wife, Brianne Theisen-Eaton, competed, the Internet freaked out. Canadians gave it the thumbs up. Americans… not so much.

When some angry Americans took to Twitter to complain, Eaton gave the trolls a healthy dose of sass in response.

Brianne competed in the two-day heptathlon to win Canada a bronze. Then, it was her turn to bring the cheer while he was in the spotlight competing in the decathlon.

In response to her husband’s supportive apparel, Theisen-Eaton showed up to cheer on husband Ashton but she also had a fellow Canadian to support: Damian Warner. To support both athletes, she opted not to sport apparel linked to either country and instead went with a T-shirt saying “Just do it AE & DW.” It was a classy move. The Internet loved her T-shirt. She posted it on her Instagram account on Wednesday morning. We’re dubbing it the “#TheisenTee.

Again, many people took to social media to voice how they felt about it. Most people loved her support. Since then however, she has taken it down. Her Instagram does not have any pictures of her wearing the shirt.

We did however find the below video which features her wearing the shirt while husband Ashton says kind words about his wife in an interview after he won gold.

The shirt has vanished from the bronze medallist’s Instagram account and on day two of the decathlon, she was also without it. Instead she wore a completely neutral pale green top while Ashton won his gold. The proud moment for the couple is below. Is the shirt going to make a comeback? What do you think?
