Jared Ward to appear on Shark Tank
The American marathoner is pitching a recovery ball that heats up and vibrates
American marathoner Jared Ward will appear in tonight’s episode of Shark Tank, the popular business show featuring Canadian venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary. Ward, along with his business partners at MyoStorm, is pitching a four-inch textured rubber recovery ball called The Meteor. Ward finished as second American male (and eighth overall) at this year’s Boston Marathon with a personal best time of 2:09:25.

One of Ward’s partners is former 800m runner Shaquille Walker, whose personal best at the distance is 1:44.99.
Ward, 31, finished sixth in the 2016 Olympic marathon in Rio. He was the first American male to finish the 2018 New York City Marathon, in 2:12:24.
The Meteor delivers both heat and vibration to relieve post-workout pain and tightness, stimulate blood flow, increase flexibility, and reduce recovery time.
