New Balance runner of the week: Charly Pazdor

Charly Pazdor is our first New Balance Runner of the Week for the awesome racing experience he has and the cool pictures he sent us.

Charly has been racing marathons since 1981, when he ran his first in Winnipeg, where he lives. The photo he sent isn’t actually from the 1981 Manitoba Marathon, but from the following year when he again ran the event with with his brother. It was his brother’s first try at 42.2K! Charly is on the right, his brother in sunglasses on the left.

In Charly took on the Boston Marathon in the nor’easter that battered the the city over marathon weekend. This is a picture of him making his way up a tougher-than-usual Heartbreak Hill. the other picture is of him taking on his most recent marathon, back at home in the 2014 Manitoba Marathon.

Charly is our first Runner of the Week! We’re giving away a new pair of New Balance shoes each week to a Canadian who shows us why they should be our runner of the week.
