Bolt ‘cold’ on bobsled idea

Sprint star Usain Bolt has reportedly turned down an offer to join the Jamaican bobsled team at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

Sprint star Usain Bolt has turned down an offer to join the Jamaican bobsled team at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, according to a report on the athletics website  spikesmag.com. When asked by sledder Marvin Dixon if he would join the team, Bolt reportedly replied, “Cold. No.”

The Jamaican bobsled team gained notoriety in their debut at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, and their story was later the subject of the 1993 comedy film, Cool Runnings, starring John Candy as the team’s coach.
