Know someone who wants to tackle a big race in 2013? Canada Running Series has the perfect gift.

Know someone who wants to tackle a big race in 2013? Canada Running Series has the perfect gift.

CRS is now offering gift certificates online that recipients can use to pay the entry fees to many of its 2013 races. Offered in denominations anywhere from $5 to $100, once purchased, the certificates can be downloaded as a PDF.

If you’re planning to buy one, however, you must also enter the name of the person who will use the gift certificate. Once you’ve paid online via credit card, you will be given a code the can use on any of the online forms for Canada Running Series events on Eventsonline.ca.

To purchase a gift certificate, visit the EventsOnline.ca website here.

If you’re on the east coast and not planning to run a CRS race, however, why not check out other race-related gift ideas for runners on the United by Running website. The site is offering ornaments that started out as race medals.

The site is currently offering ornaments made with leftover medals from Sole Sisters, the Jolly Roger, Coin and Tartan Twosome Maritime Race Weekends and the Lucky 7 Relay. You can also get a training shirt from Sole Sisters from the site. One caveat though: the site is offering pick-up orders only.
