Donovan Bailey: Usain Bolt has potential to improve

Donovan Bailey thinks Usain Bolt could run even faster.

The former 100m record holder was in India over the weekend, where he is an ambassador for the Airtel Half-Marathon.
“Bolt is someone I meet often, talk to and give advice to,” Bailey told Dnaindia.com. “He is a good kid, he is fast and the best. But he still has the potential to improve, his stance and his start could be better. With a height of 6.6 ft he is the only man on the planet who can break records and clock the lowest time.”

Bailey is among the most decorated sprinters in history, having won two world championship titles (1995, 1997) as well as the 1996 Olympic gold medal. Bolt has won six Olympic gold medals.

Meanwhile, Bolt was in Argentina for a media event, where he stated that he would focus on the 200m in 2014. “I want to break the record and run under 19 seconds,” Bolt said in a press conference. “My last goal is to go to Rio in 2016 and try to win the Olympics again.”

As a part of a publicity stunt, the Jamaican also raced a city bus over 80m in Buenos Aires.
