Lewis Kent smashes beer mile record… again

Lewis Kent has smashed the beer mile world record… again.

The 21-year-old showed up in Austin at the FloTrack beer mile world championships on Dec. 1 just after appearing on the Ellen Show and winning himself a year’s supply of beer. Kent not only managed to break the record, but he did so by four seconds. Corey Gallagher (also Canadian) came second also running a sub-4:50.

It has been quite the season for the 21-year-old expert runner/chugger. The last time he broke the record was on Nov. 17 when he ran 4:51.9. He got a sponsorship deal with Brooks right afterwards.
