Maritime Race Weekend selling fast

The Maritime Race Weekend has sold 50 per cent of race bibs only 12 days after opening for registration. In the event’s first two years it sold out completely by mid-summer, though it may sell out sooner this year.

In 2012 the race sold 88 bibs in the first two weeks. In 2013 that number jumped to 471 bibs in 12 days. This year the races have already sold just over 2000, showing the demand for the weekend event.

The race hosts two 5K runs, a 10K run, a half-marathon and a marathon.

Registration opened on the first of February for East Coast event. It will be held Sept. 12-13
