Running for one planet

On May 4, Vancouverites Matt Hill and Stephanie Tait set out on an ambitious journey called the Run for One Planet. The duos plan to run a marathon a day for a year, covering about 18,000K through towns and cities around the world to inspire environmental action. The North American leg of the tour takes them east across Canada and then south into the U.S. When they return home, Hill and Tait will donate all of the funds they raise to a foundation set up to launch a set of eco-friendly marathon races in the cities they visited along their route. To donate, or to follow the tour on their blog, check out www.runforoneplanet.com.
