Running has made it to the cover of everyone’s favourite non-running related magazine. The New Yorker cover with today’s date on it has an illustration of a mother runner stretching in the park with her baby.
The artist, Carter Goodrich, titled the illustration “Early Start.” Goodrich is an illustrator and animation artist whose work regularly appears on the cover of The New Yorker. Some of his best-known work includes characters he created for Prince of Egypt and Ratatouille (for which he received six ASIFA Annie Award nominations for best character design.) More recently, he has worked on the film Croods. His career started in 1983.
