In Toronto for the marathon this weekend? Perhaps right now it’s still waiting to be crossed off the bucket list. Either way, these are some numbers-related facts about this year’s race that you probably didn’t know:

26,000: Number of runners.

42: U.S. states are represented.

50: Countries are represented.

4,000: Is the number of metres of fencing used on the course.

3,000: Volunteers that helped make the event happen.

22,000: PowerGels will be given out to runners.

12: Cheer sections are dotted along the course from High Park to The Beaches.

3,000: Cones are used on race day.

30 million: Dollars go into the economy because of race weekend.

3.6 million: Dollars went towards the race’s charity last year.
