The inaugural Whistler Half-Marathon: June 4, 2011

Organizers have announced a new race at the site of the 2010 Olympics – the inaugural Whistler Half-Marathon will be held on Sat., June 4, 2011. Race director Dave Clark says the course will be undulating but not too hilly – and of course very scenic. Registration details will appear on the race website in November and Clark anticipates registration to open in January 2011. He hopes to attract about 300 or so runners, mainly locals, in 2011, and wants grow the event into an international destination race in future years.
