This weekend Canadians are experiencing all kinds of weather. The forecast across the country runs the gamut from sunny and hot to cloudy with wind and hail. Which camp do you sit in this weekend?

The Pan Am Games in Toronto are winding down. One of the major events running fans are looking forward to is the men’s marathon on Saturday morning. Male athletes are, unfortunately, going to be running through heat just like the women did last weekend. The forecast is calling for heat that feel like 26C at the 7:00 a.m. start. By 9:00 a.m., as runners are finishing, it will feel like 29C. Sunday will be 27C but feeling like 32C.

As for the rest of the country, the East is going to see thunderstorms on Friday and rain into Saturday. There will be a bit of a cool down in the region over the weekend with temperatures being below normal. Halifax will be 18C and cloudy on Sunday.

Moving to Quebec, runners there have a similar story. The weekend brings rain as well. Montreal will remain hot though. It will be 26C but feeling like 32C by Sunday with a chance of rain.

Manitoba may be the worst place to run this weekend with the possibility of hail lingering. Strong winds are predicted for the province. B.C. is going to be getting much-needed rain before Monday rolls around. Temperatures will also be cooler. Vancouver is going to be 18C on Sunday.
