PUMA and Ciele Athletics unveil limited-edition running collaboration

Global sportswear giant PUMA and Ciele Athletics, a renowned Canadian running brand, have teamed up for the first time to present their new collaboration, The Sound Mind Collection. This limited-edition collection is a captivating narrative of a runner’s life, encapsulating the pursuit of personal bests while simultaneously emphasizing the recovery and mental well-being.
The exclusive collaboration is supported by the motto: “Peace Is The Place. The Work Is The Work. Celebrate The Silence,” this collection embraces the essence of running, where peace represents the feeling and benefits running offers, and silence symbolizes its ability to drown out life’s distractions.
The designers from both PUMA and Ciele Athletics drew inspiration from PUMA’s European roots in track and field and incorporated elements reminiscent of classic American sportswear from the 70s and 80s. The resulting collection showcases a seamless blend of new silhouettes and cuts that reimagine the past, boasting fast and athletic pieces that scream “comfort.”
Jeremy Bresnen, co-founder and president of Ciele Athletics, voiced his pride in the collection, highlighting the strong collaborative process with PUMA’s team. “This collaboration is the perfect intersection of our two brands,” said Bresnen. “We were able to work with the team at PUMA to develop and riff off their latest technologies and create new ones while weaving the juxtaposition of physical performance, speed and pace against recovery and mental health.”
The collection pays tribute to classic PUMA apparel style, harmonizing with the brand’s best-in-class Nitro technologies featured in their footwear. “The story of balance through running resonates with runners worldwide, making the collaboration with Ciele Athletics particularly inspiring for the running community,” said Erin Longin GM of global run at PUMA.
The PUMA x Ciele Athletics collection boasts a range of performance styles for both men and women, seamlessly combining technical and performance features with utmost comfort. The designs artfully recapture elements of the past while tapping into the fusion of functionality and fashion.
The highly anticipated PUMA x Ciele Athletics collection will be available for purchase from July 28 on PUMA.com, Cieleathletics.com, and at select retailers globally. With price points ranging from CAD $60 to $360, runners and fashion enthusiasts alike can look forward to experiencing the dynamic spirit of The Sound Mind Collection and its celebration of the runner’s journey.
