With a blend of seasoned experience and up-and-coming talent, 55 Canadian athletes are poised to showcase their skills and national pride at the highly anticipated 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. The event kicks off on Saturday, Aug. 19, igniting the National Stadium with energy and running until Sunday, Aug. 27.

Day 1 of the championships will feature the women’s 10,000m final and men’s 20 km racewalk, followed on Day 2 by the women’s 20 km racewalk and the men’s 10,000m final. 

Want to catch all the action? CBC Sports offers free online streaming for viewers in Canada for both the morning and evening sessions. Early risers can tune in from 4 a.m. E.T. for the morning sessions, while those tuning in later can catch each evening session starting at 1 p.m. E.T.
