Each week Canadian Running Staff writer Maddy Kelly and Shakeout host Kate Van Buskirk bring you a recap from the exciting world of running.
This week on The Rundown we recap the upsets and breakthroughs from the London Marathon, including Olympic standard from Tristan Woodfine. We bring you the results from the Fast is Fun Marathon, the first race on Canadian soil in months. Plus, we cover a very tight American 48-hour record.

It looks like my 2 races in 2020 will involve 25 laps 😅 If a 2km loop in London is good enough for Eliud Kipchoge and Kenenisa Bekele then a 1.7km loop is good enough for me! As KB would say “I don’t think the laps matter, the road treats everyone the same”. Thanks to @fastisfun15 @hortian.steph for organizing this event I am so excited for the opportunity to race. Let’s go run a marathon @amacmartin, Ryan Schafbuch @arnaudf95 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Finally, we get excited for the upcoming Valencia Marathon and the NN World Record Day!
