Swiss running company, On, is hosting a three-day pop-up shop in Toronto. The shop is located in the Yorkville neighbourhood, a top destination for shoppers with high-end boutiques and art galleries. The shop will be open from Oct. 14 to 16, showcasing the brand’s latest shoes and products. We had the pleasure of stopping by to give readers a sneak peek at what On has in store.

Swiss sportswear brand On touches down in Toronto

Shoppers can try on the latest models from the brand, such as the Cloudflow, Cloud X, and Cloudventure (their revamped technical trail model). A representative from On is there to help and chat with you about the history of their product. “Our goal is to expand our presence in the Toronto running community,” says Hannah Allen, marketing lead. “Our brand is incorporating opportunities for community movement every single day, so that we can sweat with Torontonians.”

I had the opportunity to try the red and navy Cloudflow, and I love the updates to the Helion foam, which produces a smoother ride. Cloudflow and Cloud X are amazing models for the active athlete.

Some of the events On is hosting include a free yoga class, strength class and a community mural run. “We want to combine our events with the culture in this city,” says Allen. “Saturday we are planning to host a 6 km group run, touring runners around the beloved art murals of the city.” There are many excited runners in Toronto this weekend, as the city will host the Canadian 10K Championships at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront 10K on Sunday.

The pop-up shop is located at 135 Yorkville Avenue, just north of Avenue Rd. and Bloor St., a five-minute walk north of Museum station. The pop-up shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for browsing, as it will close down in the evening to host the community-led events.
