You know when you say something to a non-runner and you feel like they didn’t quite get it? It can be hard to decode runner speak at times.

1. 1,000 runners ill after French mud run.

France’s Mud Day race at Nice’s Côte d’Azur was the site of running disaster in June when 1,000 runners fell ill reporting symptoms of acute gastroenteritis, including diarrhea, vomiting and fever. A number of runners said that the course smelled of feces and doctors claim that participants may have ingested contaminated water.
