Lanni Marchant on signing with Under Armour
The Canadian record holder in the marathon explains her decision to sign with Under Armour recently as she builds towards the world championships
Lanni Marchant, the Canadian record holder in the women’s marathon, is in the nation’s capital for Ottawa Race Weekend.

The newly-signed Under Armour athlete, who became the first Canadian runner to sign with the brand, will be on the sidelines for the 10K and marathon and instead be on the mic helping with the live broadcast. Canadian Running caught up with Marchant during the elite press conference to chat her new sponsorship deal and what her plans are this summer.
